Global Witness carried out Independent Forest Monitoring in Cameroon between 2000 and 2005. Our work resulted in significant improvements in forest law enforcement. This document summarises some of the achievements and lessons learned from the project. They relate to the period of Global Witness' involvement in Cameroon and do not take into account any developments since then.
