Making the Forest Sector Transparent worked with local NGOs in Peru, Ecuador, Ghana, Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Guatemala and Liberia Strengthening the ability of ordinary people to access and analyse information aimed to help to reorient forest policy towards their needs. Thus the project took a people-centred approach to assessing the level of public access to information through designing and piloting a transparency report card. These documents explain how the reports card helps, and provides details behind each of the transparency indicators.
