Amicus Curiae filing in support of claim that US and German manufacturers supported apartheid South Africa

As part of a coalition of human rights NGOs, Global Witness filed an Amicus Curiae brief, under the Alien Tort Claims Act, with the US 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals. The Amicus is in support of the plaintiffs’ claims that the defendants - three American and two German car manufacturers - provided substantial and purposeful assistance to the South African apartheid regime to advance international law violations.
